When we were young we travelled to a holiday house that our grandfather had built. It had just four fibro walls and a tin roof, but some of the best days of our childhood occurred there. There was lots of memories. Catching fresh fish and trawling for prawns. Surfing on rubber surf mats, coolites and surfboards. Christmas Day on the beach with new presents. Snorkelling around the rocks. Walking through the countryside appreciating nature. And the unforgettable noise of rain on the corrugated iron roof.
